Do I need to obtain a separate e-Visa/ETA for people accompanying me?
Yes. Each traveler must have a separate e-Visa/ETA.
Can I apply for an eTA on behalf of someone?
Yes. At Sri Lanka Immigration Services, we permit applicants to apply for a group of up to 15 people.
The application process takes no more than 30 minutes to complete. On our website, please click “Apply Visa” and fill in the online application form with necessary details.
In step 1, choose the type of visa and the processing time. You should also note that the applicants in this group are only able to apply for the same type of visa. After that, provide some personal information of each applicant ( full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, and passport number) and travel details (date of arrival and departure).
What is the benefit of group application?
The biggest advantage of group application is that applicants can make the payment for the visa fee only once. You should be aware of the accuracy of the information in the application form because inaccurate data may cause delays in processing. If you have made an error, it is important that you correct it before confirmation. Any modifications after the visa application is submitted to the Government will be charged as a new one.
