Which Entry Points Accept Sri Lanka e-Visa?

The Sri Lanka e-Visa (ETA) is accepted at a specific, government-designated set of airports and seaports — not at every airport or port in the country. As of the Department of Immigration & Emigration's current list, there are 15 approved ports of entry: 6 airports and 9 seaports. Since Sri Lanka is an island, there are no land border crossings — all entry is by air or sea through one of these approved ports.

What Should I Do Before Traveling to Sri Lanka?

Confirm your specific flight or ship's arrival point is on the current approved list — ports are added or removed by government gazette notification, so this list can change.
Carry a printed copy of your e-Visa/ETA approval along with your passport to present at immigration.
If arriving by cruise ship or ferry, confirm with your operator that your specific port of call is currently processing e-Visa arrivals, since smaller ports may have limited operating hours or capacity.
